Good lobby.
free wi-fi was working perfectly. harthill reservior is near to the hotel. we loved quick bites harry ramsden's, situated 300 metres away from the venue. it was a 3-star hotel in every way.

Proximity to the freeway was so desired, but it was very loud in the back room from the direction of the freeway. Otherwise I had found everything as we expected due to the very good price for the two rooms. At this price, nothing more could actually be expected. . The heating in the bathroom was very good, which is actually intended for preheating the towels, but also gets very hot.
Breakfast is only available on reservation and then only in the room (typical English breakfast). We did without it and took our breakfast in the nearby rest stop, it was 1 pound cheaper there. Showering is unfortunately only possible in the bathtub (danger of slipping) and in the bath/toilet a toilet brush is missing. Windows can be opened only a gap wide to the outside.

Surprisingly quiet bearing in mind it was right by the motorway
Accessing the hotel from the Northbound services in the dark was hairy to say the least

The room was comfy and the location was very welcoming. I actually forgot something in the hotel and they emailed me a couple of hours later so I had enough time to pick it up before I left home.
In the Executive room you got one sachet of hot chocolate, one bottle of water and one Nutrigrain bar. We said there were two people in the room and asked if we could have extra water but were told no and that we'd have to pay. If you're paying for a double room, I expect the amenities to be for two people.

nice staff and so easy to just relax and do the stuff you need to do on these trips

I was also told I could pay £ 10 for ever hour I want to stay after that . This is not what I was sold on the Internet when I reserved my room

The only good thing was how powerful the shower was in room 114.
The bed was uncomfortable, you could hear the motorway traffic, the lack of plug sockets in the room and the free WiFi was rubbish! The room was dated and needed upgrading! The reception area had some drinks available but at unreasonable prices!
-
Great for being able to bring my dog and having a bit space for him to have a run about.
Not a comfy chair to sit in

Nice quiet location.
Cracked basin in bathroom. Sticker over cracked mirror on wall informing Staff aware. Both gave a very, very poor impression of the brand. Did not stay 2nd night due to family arrangements changing. Wait to hear if a refund will appear. The Duty Manager was not available so front desk said. A very disappointing stay.

Location was near Sherwood Forest, where we where visiting and the hotel was right beside the motorway so we couldn't get lost.
Our room was on the ground floor so the creaky floor above us was very annoying. The guests above us sounded like a herd of elephants and was noisier than the motorway near by!

I asked for extra quilt as I wasn't well it was there within 5 minuets
thick dust on power point in bathroom rusty shower rail mould on tiles wallpaper boarder hanging off cobwebs on ceiling I pointed this out to the staff
